It is not okay for the looters to come in and take things from stores when the whole town is going through such a devistating time already from Hurricane Sandy.
In the article on NY Daily news (http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/brooklyn/looters-target-coney-island-sandy-article-1.1195080) it says, "looters followed the sandy storm surge in Coney Island, creating a double whammy for business owners trying to pick up the obliterated pieces." The store owners are already going through a hard enough time with trying to get everything picked up and back together. The store owners should not be having to deal with everything the looters are doing, along with the storm. It's just not fair. The article also states, "We are supposed to come together as a community during times of crisis, not pick at each other like vultures" When a natural disaster occurs in your area the community all feels a sense of greif and loss. People should not be adding to the sad time by stealing things from other peoples businesses. That's just not okay.
What the looters are doing to these poor businesses just isn't right. The town does not need any more stress than they already have thanks to Hurricane Sandy.
